Our Veterinary Surgeons
Milton Keynes Veterinary Group employs a number of qualified veterinary surgeons across our five surgeries. Our vets come from a variety of backgrounds and have a wealth of knowledge and experience across all types of surgery, some with special interests in ophthalmology, feline medicine, orthopaedics and more.
Many of our vets have undertaken post-graduate study and achieved further specialist qualifications, awarded by the veterinary governing body the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), and continue to develop skills and knowledge with further education courses throughout their career.
There is much behind the scenes discussion of complex cases and reviewing of results to combine experiences and knowledge from many members of staff. We believe this has many benefits over a single veterinary surgeon having to make a diagnosis without the varied understanding and opinions of colleagues.
Our Management Team
Milton Keynes Veterinary Group employs only fully qualified veterinary nurses to assist the veterinary surgeons and provide the highest level of care to our inpatients.
Our nursing team includes Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants. Their personal areas of interest range across feline behaviour and medicine, small animal disease, pet bereavement counselling, surgical and medical nursing and lab work. Our nurses are constantly working to further their expertise and qualifications during their time at Milton Keynes Vets.
Our Client Care Advisors
The reception team at Milton Keynes Vets are friendly and welcoming, offering a warm smile for both patients and pet owners. Most of our staff have pets of their own and you’ll find them to be comforting and sympathetic as they welcome to your vet appointment.
