Flowers to prevent your pet’s exposure to during Spring
As Spring arrives, our gardens and green spaces start to bloom with wonderful colours of the different varieties of plants. Whilst these array of beautiful views are lovely and something to appreciate, it is also important to remind ourselves we need to keep our pets safe and unfortunately some of these pretty plants can be a danger to our pets. If your pet is likely to be intrigued by these flowers, it may be best to kept them on a lead if there are some in sight. Additionally it also to consider making your garden as pet safe as possible.
Typical signs of plant toxicity can include include drooling, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, increased heart rate, abdominal pain, abnormal breathing or cardiac arrhythmias.
