How Do You Become a Veterinary Nurse?

To qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in the UK, you typically complete:

• A Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing through an approved college or training provider
• Or a foundation or BSc degree in veterinary nursing

All training combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on placements in veterinary practices—so you’ll gain real-world experience from day one.
