Welcome to Milton Keynes Veterinary Group: updates incoming
The team at Milton Keynes Veterinary Group are so excited to start this next chapter and wanted to provide pet owners of Milton Keynes an update on our plans for the year ahead. We would also like to wish all our new clients a warm welcome to our practice – welcome to the Milton Keynes Veterinary Group family!
2023 was a really busy year
Our team welcomed over 3,000 pets to the Milton Keynes Veterinary Group family. On top of this, we had 1,397 pets become enrolled on our Healthy Pet Care Scheme! This is a fantastic result and means that local pets are receiving the best preventative healthcare available in Milton Keynes.
Big changes incoming…
We wanted our clients to be the first to know that we have some big changes planned for our practices throughout 2024 – watch this space!
Reception redesign
For those who have visited our main hospital at Walnut Tree recently, you will have already seen our wonderful new waiting room design. The area has been planned to provide both you and your pets with a calm, relaxing and safe space for when you visit us. This includes a brand-new cat parking area to minimise the stress of vet visits for our feline friends.
Colour scheme
Our new and improved colour scheme has been such a success that we have started rolling it out to each of our practices. The first works will be completed at our Whaddon Way branch. We will be sharing this journey on our social media pages throughout 2024 so make sure you follow our Facebook page for updates.
Sustainability with Milton Keynes Veterinary Group
Whilst working to improve the experience you receive when visiting our surgeries, our dedicated Green Group has been busy in the background. Throughout 2023, our Green Ambassadors worked hard on updating our practice-wide environmental policy, helping to limit the impact that Milton Keynes Vets has on the planet. Some of these updates include:
- Completing a practice-wide audit on how we source our consumable products and making improvements.
- Researching how our practice’s waste is disposed of and introducing reusable products and those in recyclable packaging wherever possible.
- Encouraging biodiversity in our area in line with our local Parish Councils – our Green Ambassadors attended a tree planting event which resulted in over 100 trees being planted with the help of the Woodland Trust.
